Theraphosa Stirmi

Theraphosa stirmi is a species of tarantula belonging to the family Theraphosidae, also known as the burgundy goliath bird eater. Coloration of these GIANT spiders varies from rusty brown or rich burgundy-brown to dark brown, with reddish setae on legs and abdomen and white lines on the legs. The urticating hairs from this species is significant and can cause major irritation. This giant species is recommended for experiemced enthusiasts. *Egg sac pulled on 11/05/20.
